Workshops Encourage Social Change in the Triad

On Martin Luther King Day on Monday, several community members gathered at the Anderson Center at Winston-Salem State University for a series of workshops to talk about social justice issues and disparities among minorities, especially the youth.

The Martin Luther King Coalition, the Minister's Conference of Winston-Salem and Winston-Salem State University partnered together to host a roundtable discussion on several topics, including education and housing equity, and equality in school systems.
