Winston-Salem Services, Priorities Surveyed
December 25, 2011 | Kathryn Mobley
Winston-Salem City leaders are using two different surveys to find out what tax payers think about the job they're doing. They've put a survey on the city website, City Link, asking residents to comment on services the city provides. Contact Center City Link Director Addie Robbins says it only takes a few minutes to fill out. The link to the online survey will be active through January 5. Last month, the scientific portion of this survey was sent out to 700 tax payers. For the past five years, the city has put out some kind of survey. But Robbins says this one is different because it does some national comparisons. Winston-Salem City leaders say they l use the results as a guide for evaluating priorities and improving the delivery of city services.
