Triad Bridge InspectionsJuly 26, 2011 | Jeff TiberiiThe N.C. Department of Transportation will close lanes on three bridges on I-85 near the Yadkin River for inspections, beginning Tuesday.
Crews will close the right lane of the I-85 South bridge over U.S. 29/70 and N.C. 150, as well as the right lane of the I-85 South bridge over the Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks.
Both closures will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 1 p.m.
On Wednesday, the DOT will close the right lane of the I-85 North bridge over the Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks from 9 a.m. until noon, weather permitting.
