Triad Anti-War Protestors go to D.C. RallyJanuary 29, 2007 | Kathryn MobleyPresident George W. Bush's plans to increase troops in Iraq has sparked a ground swell of protests from across the nation. In North Carolina, numerous churches and grassroots organizations are mobilizing to make their objections known. This weekend, an estimated 500 anti-war protestors from the Triad, Charlotte, the Triangle, Fayetteville and Asheville joined a nationan rally and march in Washington, D.C. 88.5 WFDD's Kathryn Mobley traveled with the Winston-Salem group and has this report.
