State Representative Larry Womble in Critical Condition at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital

State Representative Larry Womble is in critical condition.
He's being treated at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. According to Winston-Salem police, about 11 p.m. Friday night Rep. Womble was involved in a head-on car accident in the 2600 block of Reynolds Park Road. Investigators say 54-year-old David Carmichael was the other driver and died at the scene. 70-year-old Rep. Womble was rushed into surgery at Baptist. He's a democrat representing District 71 in Forsyth County.
