Some are Optimistic about the 'Fiscal Cliff'

On December 31, most of the world will count down to a new year. But here in the United States on Capitol Hill, lawmakers may be counting down to more than 600 billion dollars in automatic spending cuts and new tax hikes. If the country goes over, middle income families would pay an additional $3,000-$5,000 dollars.
But financial adviser Dennis Stearns doesn't believe this will happen. He is the president of Stearns Financial Group based in Greensboro. Stearns says our nation is actually primed for significant tax reform that, in future years, will prevent the U.S. from approaching another 'fiscal cliff'.
