At a time when arts programs and their related education budgets are being slashed across Our State, the idea of a middle school commissioning new works for student orchestra is difficult to fathom. But that’s exactly what’s going on at Northern Guilford Middle School.

The world premiere of “Letters from the War” by Andrés Ballesteros is Tuesday night, June 7 at 7:00pm in the Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center.
