The spring High Point Furniture Market begins next Monday. Despite the loss of furniture manufacturing jobs in North Carolina, and a new competing market in Las Vegas, the High Point Market remains the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world. Brian Casey, a 26-year veteran of the trade show business, became the president of the High Point Market Authority 11 months ago. He spoke with WFDD's Thibault Worth about the changing environment for making and marketing furniture.
