Historical Origins of Some Friday the 13th Superstitions

Today, some people in the triad may feel a bit unsettled.
That's because it's Friday the 13th, traditionally considered a very unlucky day. Dr. Eric Carlson is associate professor of Physics at Wake Forest University. One of his hobbies it to research the history of superstitions and he explains some of them to WFDD's Kathryn Mobley.
