January 19, 2010 | Kathryn Mobley

One Greensboro nurse has first hand experience in caring for some of Haiti's earthquake survivors.

Elizabeth Tinsley is a veteran operating room nurse at Moses Cone Health System. January 16th, 2010, she returned from the Dominican Republic on a medical mission trip with Dream Ministries. The team was just 100 miles from Haiti--and Elizabeth says the Wednesday morning following the earthquake, badly injured Haitian children suddenly appeared at their hospital.

Elizabeth was part of a 34-member mission team.

Dream Ministries is a partnership between Covenant Church United Methodist in High Point and the Western Conference of the United Methodist Church.
