The founder of Interfaith Youth Core, a Chicago-based organization building the global interfaith youth movement, will speak at Wake Forest University Thursday, March 1.
Eboo Patel is also a Washington Post contributor. The author will give a presentation entitled “Acts of Faith: Interfaith Leadership in a Time of Global Religious Crisis.”

Eboo Patel is also a member of President Obama’s Advisory Council of the White House Office of Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, and holds a doctorate in the sociology of religion from Oxford University, where he studied on a Rhodes scholarship.
Thursday’s event is free and open to the public and is part of Wake Forest’s Voices of Our Time Speaker series. Eboo Patel will speak at 6 p.m. in Wait Chapel.
