February 9, 2010 | David Ford

Finding new solutions to America's energy problems is the goal of one Triad conference set to begin tomorrow.

On Wednesday and Thursday, Wake Forest University will host "Energizing the Future: Technology, Policy and Entrepreneurship". Experts and visionaries from entrepreneurship to nanotechnology will gather on the campus to discuss how emerging technologies, innovation and entrepreneurship can solve energy needs.

The conference will be headlined by author and New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman whose new book is titled "Hot, Flat and Crowded".

Friedman will speak at 6:30 PM Wednesday in Wait Chapel on the campus of Wake Forest University.
