Don't Take Dogs to Firework Displays

Dr. Eric Taylor owns and operates Reynolda Veterinary Hospital in Winston-Salem. He says dogs are very sensitive to sounds and are often bothered by loud, exploding noises - and he recommends not taking them to fireworks displays.

If you live near where a display will be held, Dr. Taylor recommends keepng your pet indoors and giving it a light tranquilizer.
