Chess Grand Master

Maurice Ashley became an International Grand Master of Chess in 1999. He was the first - and remains the only - African-American to attain the title. Ashley was in Greensboro today, sharing his love of chess and talking about analytical reasoning with A&T college students as well as elementary students. Tonight he'll play an exhibition at A&T against 40 people at the same time!
