2011 Changes to MedicareNovember 17, 2010 | Kathryn MobleyAcross the Triad, thousands of senior citizens are deciding if they'll change their Medicare coverage. In our area just under 126-thousand people are eligibleple. The Annual Election Period began this past Monday and runs until December 31.
WFDD's Kathryn Mobley spoke with Donna Reynolds, executive director of UnitedHealthcare in North Carolina. According to Reynolds Medicare has made several changes that take affect in 2011.
Reynolds also recommends two websites to help senior citizens better understand the Medicare changes; www.medicare.gov, www.medicaremadeclear.com
