The opening reception for Give 'Em Shelter--the Exhibition was Thursday night at the 5IVE & 4ORTY art gallery and meeting space in Winston-Salem, thanks in part to the generous support of the Blessings Project Foundation.
In June, on the campus of Wake Forest University, the American Singers' Opera Project wrapped up its 16th successful season. ASOP founder Nancy Stokes-Milnes and Director Barbara DeMaio Caprilli walked across campus to talk with TAUC host David Ford about this year's workshop.
The Asolare Fine Arts Academy has been supporting and developing emerging artists since 1997 with instruction, mentoring and providing exhibit space. TAUC host David Ford met with Asolare Executive Director John Chapman at one such space in the heart of Winston-Salem's business district.
