NC A&T State University presents India Arie\'s Artistic Developer and Career Coach Hilda Willis

On Wednesday night, April 25, at 7:30pm Grammy-award winning, multi-platinum singer/songwriter India Arie comes to the Triad. She’ll perform in Harrison Auditorium on the campus of North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro. Opening for her will be a group of talented A&T student winners of the Living Your Art workshop competition. LYA Producing Artistic Director Hilda Willis has been coaching them for the past four months on their artistic development and the business of showbiz.

Hilda’s Rolodex of current and former clients is a veritable who’s who of superstars including India Arie, Jane Fonda, and Michael Bolton, and the reviews of her extraordinary coaching abilities from the A&T students are in. “Inspiring”, “…a life changer”, and “…knowledge I couldn’t have received anywhere else”, are just a small sampling of the responses she’s received during her work here in the Triad. Last week, Hilda spoke with David by phone from her home in Atlanta, Georgia.
