In the U.S. Military, men and women are trained to operate weapons, to perform in harsh conditions and to strategize on their feet. But in today’s Real People, Real Stories, Army Sergeant First Class Robert Reister tells WFDD’s Kathryn Mobley there’s no training that fully prepares a soldier to battle the emotional stress. In 1988, he retired from active duty. Now he and his wife Ana live in Winston-Salem.
