It is a project of the ECHO network and is made possible by the generosity of Salemtowne, a continuing care retirement community, where every life shines and stories are celebrated.
Hasan Kelly has not always been a part of the Islam faith. He was born in Hinton, West Virginia into a traditional Christian family. He also married a devout Christian woman. However, years later, Kelly decided to embrace Islam.
Now he describes to StoryLine volunteer Gail Fisher what he calls dangerous misconceptions about his faith and most Muslims.
