Paint The World Blue

November 7, 2010

StoryLine gives voice to everyday people throughout our community as they share the experiences that shape their lives. Big Ron Hunter describes himself as “the world’s happiest Bluesman”. He says his style combines folk and blues music to create what he calls the 'Red Banks Squirrel Scatching Blues'. A style he's been developing for more than 40 years. In that time Hunter has worked with a number of skilled blues artists. One who he deeply admires is Luther Mayer, better known as “Captain Luke”. In this segment of StoryLine, Ron and Luke share stories of their musical careers. StoryLine is a project of the ECHO network and is made possible by the generosity of Salemtowne, a continuing care retirement community, where every life shines and stories are celebrated.
