Messengers from the Soul

September 3, 2012

Poetry is a form of literature often overlooked by young people. But guest commentator Rodney Holman says this art form has helped him maneuver through the tangles of his life. In this segment of Real People Real Stories, Holman declares poetry can reveal practical lessons. You can hear Holman perform his poetry this week at two Winston-Salem bookstores. September 5 he’ll be at Barnhills Books at 6 p.m. And September 6, Holman will read his poetry at Barnes & Noble at 7 p.m. Holman is also an independent recording artist and the project developer for Delta Arts Center in Winston-Salem.
