Let’s Go Crabbing

June 13, 2011

Sunday, June 19 is Father’s Day. In this segment of WFDD’s Real People, Real Stories, guest commentator Skip Staples honors the nurturing spirit of all Dads. He recalls teaching his son a long held family tradition, crabbin’. But in the process, he actually teaches his son something more valuable.
Skip Staples is a free-lance writer, storyteller, and musician who
lives in Stokes County with his wife, Leslie, and several dogs. He
loves his life in the ancient Sauratown Mountains and writes about it
on his blog at http://sauratown.wordpress.com/. He can be contacted
at skip.staples@gmail.com.
