Flaming Abbotts Creek

The Piedmont, has a rich history of folk-lore. And generations of storytellers have kept these legends alive through the years. On WFDD's Real People, Real Stories---Guest Commentator Cynthia Brown shares a civil war tale surrounding Abbott Creek in the Lexington area. Cynthia Brown is a veteran folk storyteller based in Greensboro. She's compiling Piedmont ghost stories and legends for a new book.
