Winston-Salem Health Worker Accused of Major Embezzlement Scheme

On Monday, a former Novant Health administrative office employee was accused of bilking about $620,000 from the non-profit health care provider. According to the Winston-Salem police department report, 56-year-old Carol Crawley Maultsby is charged with eight counts of embezzlement. She is being held in the Forsyth County Jail with a bail set at $50,000.
