Winston-Salem Computer Businessman Reacts to Steve Jobs' Death
October 6, 2011 |
In Winston-Salem, Computer Tree Vice President Joe Young has been using Apple computers for almost 30 years. He says Wednesday night when he heard of Jobs' death, he was home working on his Macbook Pro. According to Young, Jobs changed the way people thought about technology and they way they'll use it in the future. And he's confident Jobs' death will not have a negative impact on the company or on independent retailers, like Computer Tree, that sells Apple products. Young also says Apple has been more proactive in working with retailers, offering product and sales support.
