Will the Switch to Digital Leave You in the Dark?

You've heard the public service announcements for more than a year and a half. And now, the day is finally here. By law, television stations nationwide must begin broadcasting exclusively in a digital format. After several set and re-set dates by Congress, Friday marks the United State's conversion from analog to digital broadcasting.

Digital television, better known as DTV, a new form of broadcast technology designed to provide clearer picture and sound.

WFDD's LeShea Agnew discovered some Triad residents and TV stations have been ready for the switch for years, while others are content to be left in the dark.
