Warton Gladden Foundation Collects for Needy Families

The Wharton Gladden Foundation is collecting toys, clothes, books and money for Triad families in need. The goal is to help at least 250 this holiday season. Chairman Algenon Cash says the foundation normally hosts a Christmas party and collects money that it then gives to local charities to support their work. But two years ago, he was challenged to do more. Wharton Gladden Foundation is partnering with Christmas Toy Drive and the Salvation Army to identify families in Winston-Salem. In Greensboro, it's partnered with I Wish For A Christmas. According to Cash, these donations inspire children and uplift a community.
