War is a Dirty, Dirty Job

Richard Lees was a First Lutienant in the Air Force during World War Two. He entered the war in 1942 and flew bomb missions over Europe. Today this 89-year old veteran spoke with WFDD's Kathryn describing his war experience as a dirty job. After the service. he earned his college degree and became an engineer. Later he was CEO of a subsidiary of Ingersol Rand and built manufacturing plants around the world. Richard Lees lives in Winston-Salem with his wife. He has 4 children and 11 grandchildren.
