November 1, 2007 | Kathryn Mobley

In the San Diego area clean up continues after last week's fire. Winston-Salem resident and Red Cross volunteer Miriam Marley was in San Diego at the time visiting friends in Rancho San Pasqual when the fires broke out. She was forced to evacuate...but two days later the Red Cross activated her as a relief worker. From San Diego, Miriam describes her experience to WFDD's Kathryn Mobley. Tag: Miriam says the Delmar Fairground is scaling back its services as more people return home. She hopes to return to Winston-Salem by the end of this week.
