Thursday evening, Triad supporters spoke out at events in downtown Greensboro and in Winston-Salem on the Wake Forest University campus.
About 2,000 people gathered behind Brendel Recital Hall. The College Republicans at Wake Forest sponsored the event.
WFDD's Kathryn Mobley spoke with several in attendance who say the Tea Party Movement represents their concerns.
Nationwide, more than 700 Tea Parties were held.
