U.S. Congressman Brad Miller Condems Negative Speech

January 11, 2011 | Kathryn Mobley

North Carolina's U.S. Congressman Brad Miller says he's disturbed by the growing amount of negative speech people want protected by the First Admendment.

Congressman Miller represents the 13th District. He says he and Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords are friends and have worked together on House subcommittees.

He spoke with WFDD's Kathryn Mobley and says Americans
need to recognize the dangers of allowing negative rhetoric to go unchecked.
