U.S. 52 Bridge Opens Tuesday Night in Winston-SalemMarch 20, 2012 | The new U.S. 52 bridge over Liberty Street in Winston-Salem opens to traffic Tuesday night, March 20th. According to The North Carolina Department of Transportation, it will have 3 lanes traveling north and and three lanes traveling south to better handle traffic. Officials say traffic will be switched over this evening at 10 p.m. and there may be some delays.
