Triad residents discuss solutions for improving high school dropout rate
December 2, 2011 | Keri Brown
On Thursday night, WFDD hosted a community discussion about the high school dropout rate in North Carolina and in the Triad. WFDD partnered with Winston-Salem State University for the event, which was held on campus in the Dillard Auditorium.
WFDD's coverage of the drop-out rate is made possible in part by American Graduate: Let's Make It Happen, a public media initiative funded by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to help local communities across the country address the dropout crisis.
