HOST Intro:
The Winston-Salem Arts Council is celebrating 60 years of promoting arts organizations in our community.
This afternoon, it hosted a luncheon featuring Mrs. Joan Adams Mondale, wife of former Vice President of the United States, Walter Mondale.
She’s the Honorary Chair of 6 Days in November—a celebration of crafts, arts and innovation in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Mondale has long been an advocate for fine arts and crafts since her tenure as chair of the Federal Council on the Arts and Humanities.
After the luncheon, WFDD's David Ford sat down and spoke with the Mondales.
