Davidson County sheriff’s deputies arrested two teens they believe are responsible for 39 car break-ins. WGHP-TV reports that deputies arrested 17-year old Dakota Adkins of Charlotte, and 18-year-old Nolan Hill of Lexington, in connection with a string of auto break-ins throughout July. The suspects took electronics, sunglasses, loose change or other personal items. Adkins was jailed under a $50,000 secured bond and Hill under a $25,000 secured bond. Police say juvenile court petitions have also been obtained on two 15-year-olds who helped during each of the break-ins.
Meanwhile, the King Police Department found that teens were behind a rash of vehicle break-ins and larcenies in their jurisdiction. WFMY-TV reports that 6-year-olds Dalton King and Samuel Misenheimer of Winston Salem, and 17-year-old Tory Teague of Rural Hall are charged in the break-ins. The King Police Department has recovered several items of stolen property, including one firearm and a Honda.
