Ibrahim Myers is well known in the Downtown Winston-Salem community. Many know him as the man delivering sandwiches for Jimmy John's, and occasionally working as a downtown bartender. He was critically injured in a biking accident last month. Now, his friends are throwing a fundraising event to celebrate their friend and help raise funds for his recovery.
The event is Sunday, July 10th at 3pm at the Millennium Center. There will be two stages with local bands performing, a raffle, and words from Mayor Allen Joines.
