Stanley Furniture Considers High Point for HeadquartersMarch 23, 2012 | A furniture company may increase its presence in High Point. Executives at Stanley Furniture Company, Inc. are considering consolidating its corporate headquarters and showroom facility in the city. It would bring 42 jobs to High Point and the average wage would be a little more than $58,000. Currently, the company has two operations in High Point – employing 13 people. April 2, the High Point City Council will hold public hearings to consider approving $340,000 in financial incentives for Stanley Furniture. April 12, the Guilford County Board of Commissioners will consider authorizing up to $76,000. Stanley Furniture is also looking at possible locations in two other states.
