Kevin Belmonte is the author of William Wilberforce: A Hero for Humanity. Wilberforce was a British Parliamentarian instrumental in bringing an end to the slave trade throughout the British Empire. Belmonte was a consultant on the production of Amazing Grace, the feature film about the life and times of William Wilberforce written by Oscar nominee Steven Knight. The film, which is currently in theatres, is directed by Michael Apted. Belmonte stopped by WFDD's studios and spoke with Thibault Worth.
