Schools announce make-up days

Forsyth and Guilford County have released make-up dates after last week's winter weather. Forsyth County Schools: All schools in the Forsyth County School System will make up school on March 29th and March 30th, as well as June 9th and 10th. Guilford County Schools: During the week of February 1st, Guilford County Schools were closed to students on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday due to inclement weather. Schools on the traditional calendar will make up snow dates on February 18th, February 19th, April 23, April 26. Additional make-up days are as follows: The Early College at Guilford: February 19, March 8, March 9, June 1 Greensboro College Middle College: February 19, March 8, May 24, May 25 Year-round schools: February 19, April 5, May 28, June 10 Middle colleges: February 19, April 5, May 27, May 28 Extended-year schools: No make-up days are needed Oak Ridge Elementary: February 18, April 23, April 26, May 28 Although Oak Ridge Elementary follows the traditional calendar, the school will maintain a teacher workday on February 19th, which provides a day for employees to prepare for the school to re-open on February 22nd. The school will use May 28th as the fourth make-up day.
