Tonight, beginning at 6:00, the RiverRun International Film Festival will announce its line-up of films, panels and parties for this year's event.
For Executive Director of River Run Andrew Rogers the announcement is a celebration that's been one year in the making.
Of the more than 800 submissions, about 60 features and 60 shorts will be shown during the week long event. More than 30 different country’s will be represented at RiverRun 2011. Last year’s festival showcased Mexican cinema, and this year's festival will place a spotlight on French filmaking.
Later this evening, after the formal announcement is made at Reynolda House Musem of American Art, the full lineups for the festival will be posted on RiverRun’s website along with detailed ticket information.
The 13th annual RiverRun festival takes place from April 8th through the 17th in Winston-Salem. More details available at www.riverunfilm.com
