Police look for suspects in Davie County home invasion
October 4, 2011 | Keri Brown
Police said the incident happened on Madison Lane off of Cedar Grove Church Road in the western part of Davie County.
"Around midnight, the suspect came into the residence and shot two brothers. Both brothers received both gunshots and cuts but are in stable condition," said Lt. Lee Whiteside with the Davie County Sheriff's Department.
Whiteside identified the victims as Patrick and Hugh Smith. A third person who was at the home at the time of the shootings was not injured. Whiteside said robbery wasn't a motive in the case and the home invasion was not a random incident.
Anyone with information is urged to call the Davie County Sheriff's Department.
