Omar Gallaga Discusses the Good, Bad and Ugly of Technology in Schools

This week, WFDD and the Forsyth Education Partnership will present a Cyber-Communications Forum, to explore the Good, the Bad and the Ugly as schools embrace new technology and social media in the classroom. Omar Gallaga, technology culture writer for the Austin American-Statesman, and former contributor to NPR's "All Tech Considered," will join the panelists Thursday evening. In this interview with WFDD's Audrey Fannin, Gallaga discusses the pros and cons of using this technology in the classroom. The Cyber Communications Forum will be held Thursday from 7 until 8:30 p.m. in Brendle Recital Hall at Wake Forest University.
