Many Local Men and Women Are "Going Guard"

November 26, 2009 | LeShea Agnew

There are more than ten-thousand Army National Guardsmen in our state and that number is growing. According to military officials, North Carolina's struggling economy means more people are considering a stable career in the Army. WFDD's LeShea Agnew visited the National Guard recruiting office in Winston-Salem over the weekend and has more. According to the North Carolina branch of the Army National Guard...our state ranks 15th in the number of Guardsmen. We have 10,800. For more information visit the National Guard website at www.1-800-go-guard.com or call 1-800-GO-GUARD
