And one Winston-Salem man refuses to let his own limited sight hold him back from helping others. WFDD's LeShea Agnew has this story. According to the American Academy of Ophthalmology, there is no specific treatment or cure for R.P. However, protecting the eye's retina with U.V. sunglasses may be helpful in delaying the onset of symptoms.
