Kidnapping Victim's Mother Speaks

January 12, 2006 | Jennifer Curry

The mother of a Winston-Salem man who was kidnapped at the beginning of the new year says there is another side to the story of her son's ordeal at the hands of Haitian gang members. 30-year-old documentarian Frank Eaton was held for ransom for three days in a dangerous part of the poorest country in the western hemisphere. His mother, Winston-Salem-based writer Leigh MCMillan, told 88.5 WFDD's Jennifer Curry what it was like at home- worrying and waiting.
