Kicking the Carbon Habit. A Conversation With Author William Sweet

February 28, 2007 | Thibault Worth

In the last year, there's been a dramatic increase in attention to reducing the greenhouse gases that cause global warming. At the Oscar ceremonies Sunday, former Vice President Al Gore, who’s "An Inconvenient Truth" took two Oscars in the documentary category, once again called global warming a moral, not a political issue. William Sweet is the author of “Kicking the Carbon Habit: The Case for Renewable Energy.” He says nuclear power will have to be a part of the solution. He was in Winston-Salem yesterday to speak to a biology seminar at Wake Forest University. He stopped by our studios and spoke with WFDD's Thibault Worth.
