Jack Fleer

September 11, 2007 | Denise Franklin

When it comes to political offices, some would argue that Governors impact the every day lives of citizens more than any other office- holder. Wake Forest University Political Science Professor Emeritus Jack Fleer agrees and he explains why through interviews and data in his book Governors Speak. In the second part of an interview with WFDD's Denise Franklin Fleer focuses on North Carolina and some of the governors he studied. Jack Fleer is a professor emeritus of political science at Wake Forest University. His book is entitled Governors Speak. He has studied and taught the topics of southern and North Carolina politics over the past 50 years.
