Indra Nooyi Encourages WFU's 2011 Graduates to Never Stop LearningMay 16, 2011 | After finally turning the tassel, the one thing many graduates want to do is close the books. But Pepsico CEO Indra Nooyi urges graduates to never stop learning.
This morning, Nooyi was the keynote commencement speaker at Wake Forest University. The 2011 Spring outdoor ceremony was held in Hearn Quad.
In 1994, Nooyi joined PepsiCo and served as president and chief financial officer. She became CEO in 2006, succeeding Wake Forest's current dean of business, Steve Reinemund. Then in 2009, Time Magazine named her one of the world's most influential people.
President Nathan O. Hatch introduced Nooyi to 1,651 undergraduates and graduates. Here's a recording of her commencement speech.
