Hospice Celebrates 25 YearsDecember 2, 2005 | Jennifer CurryHospice and Palliative Care Center of Greensboro is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Over the past couple of decades, the end-of-life care that Hospice patients and their families receive has expanded significantly in Greensboro. From an organization that started in 1980 with just a handful of staff and clients, Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro now helps nearly 1,000 familes in Guilford County each year cope with losing a loved one. 88.5 WFDD's Jennifer Curry reports.
