Herbalife Brings Almost 500 Jobs to Forsyth CountyDecember 18, 2012 | Kathryn MobleyHerbalife is moving to Forsyth County. The Winston-Salem Journal reports the company has chosen to locate a manufacturing and distribution center in the former Dell Inc. assembly plant. The company is expected to create 493 local full-time or full-time-equivalent jobs over three years. WFDD News called Mayor Allen Joines, who would not comment about Herbalife locating in Forsyth County. But he did confirm, Governor Beverly Perdue will be in the county Wednesday afternoon to make an economic development announcement. It'll be held at the vacant Dell plant on Temple School Road.
